Solid Rockers Ministry is
led by Paul and Linda Botter, and is designed to serve the needs of the
senior adult members of Solid Rock Church. We want to ensure that no
one is lost or forgotten, even if they are confined to their own home or an
assisted living facility. The Solid Rocker’s Ministry exists to help
provide direction and support for the spiritual, emotional, social,
physical, intellectual and financial well being of our senior members.
We are not just takers of the good things of life, we also give and serve.
Some visit the sick and shut-in members, some help maintain the sanctuary
and grounds, some usher, some teach children and adults, some plan and lead
outings and trips for seniors, and some plan and serve meals for our special
functions.
The
highlight of the year for this group comes in November, when they all
board the Solid Rock bus and head for Gatlinburg, Tennessee for a
week.
If you are a senior citizen we invite you to come and be a part of us.
We want you to know that we want and need your help in our efforts to
serve the Lord.
